We offer Disaster Preparedness talks for your church group, neighborhood association, scout troop, etc. Families and loved ones may not always be together in an emergency, so it's important to plan in advance. When you attend our interactive talk, you will learn how to be better prepared as an individual, a family, a teacher, a co-worker. Topics include what to do before, during and after a disaster such as a hurricane. Discussions will include how to write a family disaster plan and how to build an emergency kit. We also teach basic prevention and mitigation strategies that you can use in your home to protect your family.
If you would like to request First Aid coverage for an event, please use the form below and include location and time, as well as the name and phone number of the Point of Contact. We do offer this service free of charge, but your tax-deductible donation is always welcome.
We meet for monthly training at Apex Fire Station #3 located at 736 Hunter Street, Apex, on the first Thursday of the month at 6:30PM. Occasionally we will have training off-site, so if you'd like to attend a meeting, please check with us to confirm the location.
